Tailgate height clearance for low garages

Hey everyone, I’m getting my car in a week and was wondering if anyone has measured the height of the tailgate when it’s fully opened. I’m concerned it might hit the roof of my garage. I saw a video mentioning that the height can be adjusted, but I’m curious if it still has enough clearance for low garages. Thanks for any input!

Yes, you can adjust it. First, measure your garage clearance, then make the adjustment outside of the garage.

Thanks for confirming! I’ll measure the garage height and adjust the tailgate outside as suggested. Do you know if the process is straightforward, or should I check the manual?

Very straightforward @Riha.

You can adjust the setting from the display above the steering wheel, or by using the key fob. I used the key fob to stop the gate where I want it to stop while it was opening - Then you hold the button on the door for a few seconds to set that position.

Yes, I did manage to fit my car in the garage! I adjusted the tailgate height using the key fob, and it worked perfectly. Now I have plenty of clearance
