So, I recently got a used bZ4X. It's actually a pretty good car for driving around the city, since I work downtown and don't really go anywhere else. I only have to charge it once a week at home.

I think Toyota and Subaru could have put a bit more effort into the tech and the way it looks, but it's a huge step up from my old Ford Focus.

Overall, I'm happy with it, even though it's not perfect. I'm curious to hear what other people think of it, since it seems like a lot of people aren't too impressed.

I've had my Solterra for two years now, and I love it!

I only charge it at home, and the electricity is cheap, so it works great for me. I have other cars for those long trips, so it's perfect for my needs.

Almost a year with my Toyota bZ4X, and it’s been smooth sailing all the way. No maintenance issues, rock-solid performance and it handles daily life like a champ. Toss in the maintenance savings, and this ride is worth every cent!

Glad it's working out so well for your city driving - charging it at home once a week is a major plus. Downtown commutes are the worst, so anything that makes them easier is a win, for sure.

I've heard some people aren't crazy about the tech or how it looks, but everyone's different, right? Sounds like for you, the fact that it's practical and efficient is more important. And a big upgrade from a Focus is definitely a good sign! I'm curious what other owners think too. Have you looked at any forums or owner groups online? It's always interesting to see what people say after they've had a car for a while. If you don't mind me asking, what specifically do you think they could have done better with the tech and design?

I really like driving this car, but the app is just awful. And seriously, the window switches aren't lit up at all! It's a huge design flaw. I even sprung for the interior lighting, but it's a joke – a candle is brighter! Other than that, though, it's been super reliable. I've had it for 14 months and all I've needed are tire rotations.
