I've been eyeing the bz4x for a while now. I test drove one and was blown away it's like my rav4, but electric! I'm seriously considering leasing an xle, but my local dealer is overflowing with Limited. They're well over $50k, and I'm wondering if I can get a decent deal on an xle given the current inventory. I know I can get the lease credit, but I'm worried I might be overpaying.

What kind of monthly payments are you seeing? Any tips for negotiating a better deal with the dealer?

Leasing can be tricky but there are deals out there. For instance Toyota is offering a lease on the 2024 bZ4X XLE for $285 per month for 36 months with $1,999 due at signing. It’s always a good idea to check multiple dealerships and see if they can match or beat this offer. Consider negotiating the capitalized cost to lower your monthly payments.

I got my EV back in June, put $7,000 down, and now I'm paying just $175 a month. Plus, there's a free charger super close, so it's basically been free to run! If it stays this good, I'll probably buy it out when the lease is up. The only thing is, it seems to hate the cold, especially when the battery gets low. Since I'm new to EVs, I'm not sure if that's a common thing.

If you want something more like the RZ 450e, and with more stuff than the bZ4X, just ask the Subaru guys about the Solterra trims.
