Hey, guys, does anyone know what signing up for Toyota Wi-Fi Connect comes with? The app can't stop suggesting me the trial. Has anyone used it?

It allows you to use the vehicle as a Wi-fi hotspot and do integrated streaming (if you are asking me, I don't know what is that). I don't know what other features it comes with.

I’ve looked into Toyota Wi-Fi Connect, and it gives you access to in-car Wi-Fi, allowing you to stay connected while on the go. The trial typically includes some free data, but after that, you’ll need to subscribe. I haven’t used it personally, but it’s convenient if you need internet access during trips.

I've found Wi-Fi Connect to be a lifesaver on long drives with the kids. They connect their tablets to the car's Wi-Fi and stream videos or play games without draining my phone's data. The integrated streaming allows us to play our favorite music directly through the car's system. If you have a family or frequently travel with passengers, it might be worth giving the trial a shot to see if it suits your needs.

It lets you use the vehicle as a Wi-Fi hotspot, but I'm hesitant because of the cost. Plus, my phone can do that without needing a subscription for the feature

I've been getting those Wi-Fi Connect trial pop-ups non-stop too! So, I finally gave in and tried it. Basically, you get a mobile hotspot in your car, which is cool if you have kids or passengers who need to be online. Some plans also bundle in remote start, lock/unlock, and other app features. Honestly, though, after the trial, I'm not sure it's worth the monthly cost. The speed was alright, but nothing amazing, and I usually just use my phone's hotspot anyway. Plus, who needs another subscription? I'm curious if anyone has anyone else actually kept it after the trial?

It happily drains your account every month. Beyond that, I’m not sure I just use it and just let the trial period quietly expire.

That app is persistent, isn't it? I've been ignoring it for a while now. I'm curious how it comparse to just using my phone's hotspot. Is it faster? More reliable? If it's just basic internet, I'm not sure it's worth the cost. I've learned that comparing features side-by-side can help make a decission.
