I recently took a limited FWD model for a test drive and really loved it! I only need around 160 miles of range each day and can charge at home. Do I need to get a special charger for that? Also, is it still a good buy? I’m new to EVs, so I’m wondering if there are any production dates to watch out for or if there’s a noticeable difference between AWD and FWD. This is a big investment for me, so any advice would be super helpful. Thanks!

I'd recommend one of these cars. They're pretty sweet. I liked the XLE's cloth seats more than the Limited's leather... just felt better.

Awesome you liked the bZ4X! Test drives are so important. 160 miles and charging at home? Sounds like a great match!
So, about charging at home: you can use a regular outlet (120V, like for a lamp), but it'll be super slow. Like, overnight slow. Think of it as a trickle charge. A 240V Level 2 charger (like for a dryer) is way faster. Most EV owners get one installed – it's a good idea if you'll be driving a lot. The 120V outlet is okay if you're in a pinch, but not ideal for every day.

A lvl 2 charger is gonna seriously cut down your charging time. If it's a good buy for you, well, that really depends on your situation, but it sounds like a solid pick. Just keep in mind, FWD gives you better range, but AWD gives you better traction, even though it might take a little bit off your range.
