    Navigation route with charging stops

I use ABRP + PlugShare and it works like it is from there.

    BZ4X cabin air hepa filter

It's funny, but I've realized I feel way better after driving my BZ4X than other cars. I've never really been that sensitive to pollution, so it got me thinking about the BZ4X's air. Does it have a HEPA filter or something or is the ventilation just really good? I usually drive with the AC/heat...

Buzzing Noise on right rear wheel

This happened to mine one time. It turned out that the buzzing noise was due to a grounding issue or a loose connection after the installation.

Preparing for my BZ and need advice on home charging

I am excited to get my BZ pretty soon, and I want to make sure I am all set with the right home charging setup before it arrives. I read about some charging options, but I haven't seen any information to help me decide what works best at home. Toyota offers free fast charging through EVgo, but I...

    EVGo free charging

Hey, I’m an EV Go regular (a couple of times a month) through the Toyota App. Don’t worry, you’ll get it working! Yes, you’ll need an EV Go account linked to your Toyota app. I can’t remember the exact steps, but I do remember calling EV Go to wrap it up. Like all tech, it’s a dream when it...

    bZ4X Regen brake unavailable

I’ve seen this before, and it’s usually temporary! If the battery is full, the car can’t use regen braking, so it switches to regular braking instead. If it’s happening at random times, it might be worth resetting the system (turn the car off, wait a few minutes, then restart).

QR Code Sticker on bZ4X Broken

This whole VIN mix-up sounds like a disaster on Toyota’s part. If the dealership’s own system thinks your bZ4X is a Subaru, that’s just embarrassing. And now the QR code fix is broken too? Classic. I’d escalate the issue and ask Toyota for an official email confirmation that you can print and...

USB-C charging problem with samsung phones

Unfortunately, most built-in car USB ports aren’t designed for fast charging, and Toyota’s seem to be especially slow. If you need real charging power, a good-quality 12V adapter with USB-C PD is your best bet. It’s annoying, but at least it’s an easy fix.

Can You Turn Off the Head Unit Screen

To turn off the screen, I have to go to Settings > Display > Display On/Off. It's really not very intuitive. Most other cars have a single button to do this. Toyota should make it easier.
