EVGo free charging

Has anyone in the US actually managed to use the free EVGo charging with their bZ4x? I've been wrestling with Toyota's "helpful" guide (total joke), and I can't even find where you're supposed to "enroll" the car in the app. EVGo support finally got back to me, saying Toyota's having "issues" and they'll update me (don't hold your breath). They even asked me what's wrong with the Toyota app, which is hilarious since the enrollment thing is totally missing. So, has anyone cracked this code? Is the free charging just a big lie, or what? Any tips?

Hey, I’m an EV Go regular (a couple of times a month) through the Toyota App. Don’t worry, you’ll get it working! Yes, you’ll need an EV Go account linked to your Toyota app. I can’t remember the exact steps, but I do remember calling EV Go to wrap it up. Like all tech, it’s a dream when it works! Just tap "Find Stations" near the top right of the Toyota app’s car page when it decides to cooperate. Good luck!

It sounds like a real headache, the free charging promotion seems to have issues with Toyota's app. I’d keep contacting support, but swapping apps might help.
