I got a bZ4X from the Chinese market, only to find my head unit stuck in Chinese, and even translating to English doesn't make it usable without a Chinese account. The unit doesn't recognize my Galaxy Note 10 for Android Auto, leaving me frustrated with limited functionality. I'm now wondering if I can replace the current software with a western version, or even swap the entire unit for one that suits my needs.

Well, I’m pretty sure I won’t be finding the English language setting anytime soon unless there’s a “magic” button that translates Chinese for me! But I’d bet you can change the language somewhere in the settings. If not, swapping the software or the whole unit might be your best bet for a smoother ride. You could always try reaching out to a dealer or tech expert to see if they can work their magic. Fingers crossed you get it all sorted
