I think he is courageous to point out flaws right at the start of the video. The range is really not up to my standard or anyone's standard. It even has limited regen brake capability which doesn't sound safe at all. Can we even trust this car if worse comes to worst?

It feels like the focus might be on compliance with regulations for Toyota with this release. Their commitment to hybrids is strong, and EVs might not be their top priority just yet.
