My bz4x estimated range has decreased since I bought it. I was initially getting around 230 miles, but now it's closer to 220 due to winter weather. I realize it's just an estimate and that using the heater and defroster affects the range. I'm wondering if there's a way to reset the estimate and erase the stored driving data. The app doesn't seem to have that option. Can it be done through the car's display? I'd rather not create a new driver profile if I don't have to. Any tips for maximizing range in winter, and is it even possible to recalibrate the range estimate?

I've learned that the estimate adjusts dynamically each time the vehicle is turned on. With more driving, it collects more data, becoming better aligned with ones personal driving habits and the conditions around me. Resetting doesn’t offer much unless I'm drastically changing my driving patterns or environment

I agree with @SilverFox. the range estimate is constantly adjusting to your habits and the weather. I don’t think there’s a way to fully reset it, but you could try turning off features like the heated seats and steering wheel to conserve energy. Also, preconditioning the car while it's still plugged in can help you save battery when you start driving..

It's cool the average gets better with driving, but it's kinda bugging me how much it changes with driving habits...

There’s no direct reset button for range estimates, but you can try resetting the trip data and energy consumption history in the car’s display. Over time, the system adapts to your recent driving habits, so if you drive more efficiently, it should adjust back.
