Hello! I got this crazy story for you. I have a friend who is from North Carolina and he bought a Toyota bZ4X about one year ago. After he bought it, customer service called him and told him that he shouldn't have the car, as they weren't selling this car in N Carolina. Apparently, this car was available only in zero emissions states. I wonder if this is still available. Anyway, what do you think about the story? Have a great one!

The bZ4X’s availability was indeed restricted to zero-emissions states when it first launched, likely to meet regulatory goals. Your friend’s experience might be due to a dealer selling it without realizing Toyota’s policy. It’s worth checking if Toyota has changed their distribution strategy since then, I’d imagine they want broader availability now to compete in the EV market. Interesting story, though!
